The Jim Bennett Foundation for
Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Research is a tax-exempt,
non-profit organization founded in 2005 by Jim and
his family. In 1995 Jim had an accident and
suffered a
cervical spinal cord injury, causing partial
paralysis of all 4 limbs. The Foundation
is a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to
raising money for scientific research in the United
States that will lead to a cure for paralysis caused
by spinal cord injury.
The foundation, through the generosity of friends
and family has donated $57,000 to the Keck Center of
Collaborative Neuroscience, the SCI Project at
Rutgers University! To learn more about the Keck
