The Jim Bennett
Foundation for Spinal Cord Injury Research is a
501c3 tax-exempt, non-profit organization, founded
in 2005 by Jim and his family. We are a 100%
volunteer organization dedicated to raising money
for U.S. scientific research that will lead to a
cure for paralysis, caused by spinal cord injury
(SCI).
Thanks to the
generosity of many supporters our Foundation has
donated $72,000 to The W. M Keck Center of
Collaborative Neuroscience, The Spinal Cord Injury
Project, at Rutgers University. Founding Director,
Dr. Wise Young has been on the forefront of SCI
Research for nearly 30 years and we are proud to
support his research by joining the fight to cure
paralysis! To learn more about Dr. Wise Young and
